I am passionate about getting the word out about the importance of choosing to be an organ donor. There are people waiting on organ donation lists all around the world who could benefit if the right donor is found.
My husband had struggled with kidney failure for a year and a half and we had worked and worked on finding a long-term solution to manage this. Luckily, it turned out that I was a match and was able to donate a healthy kidney in December of 2020.
